He married (1) LYDIA ANN HALL October 03, 1855 in Portage, Co,. Ohio, daughter of JAMES HALL and LYDIA (--?--). He married (2) ERMINA DODGE May 06, 1868 in Portland, Chautauqua, NY. He married (3) PHEBE F. SCOTT 1878 in Cloud Co. KS.

Notes for SUMNER DELOS. ALLEN:
Sumner Delos Allen and his son, Will, moved from NY to Cloud Co., KS in 1871. According to one report, moved to Lyons in Cloud County, KS to farm. Sumner sold his farm about 1897 and moved to El Reno, Canadian, OK to live near Will. When S. D. Allen died, he left his entire estate to his oldest son, Will. this resulted in bad feelings between Fred and Will that were never settled.
Sumner and Phebe (Scott) Allen are buried in Frisco Cemetery El Reno, OK.

James Joshua Blaisdell, Rev., born February 8, 1827, class of 1846, graduated from Andover Theological Seminary in 1852. Served as chaplain of the Fortieth Wisconsin volunteers during the Rebellion. Made a D. D. in 1873, by Knox college. Professor of Rhetoric and English Literature, at Beloit college, WI., from 1859-64, professor of Intellectual and Moral Philosophy, from 1864 until his death at Kenosha, WI., October 10, 1896, by suicide.
