I am researching the McComb and Bishop family history. The first Bishop to arrive was Rev. John Bishop from Cattistock, England. He entered by way of Stamford, Conn. My family line eventually moved north during the Revolutionary War and founded Bishop Corners renamed Granville, NY. The family wound its way west through northern Indiana to Wisconsin and then down to Kansas.
The McCombs came from Scotland to Ireland entering the Southern United States. They migrated west through Tenn. or Ken. to Ill. and then to Missouri. William Albert McComb moved to Kansas where he met and married Lenora Bishop.
