| For those of you that have visited my home page before, THANK YOU, and to the rest of you WELCOME. The surname CARPENTER is by far the largest family group and will remain separate on this page. The CARPENTER line goes back to England in the 1300s. This branch is from William of Rehoboth but the attached report has several side families. Please let me know via Email if you have any additions or corrections . I have tried to document as much as I can. However, most of this information does not come from vital records. This family moved to Jamaica, Long Island, NY to Galena, Delaware, Ohio; then to Illinois,Iowa and Idaho. Last update 10/05/98. Other families I am researching on this side are KENISTON, CONSTANT, ROTH, MOORHOUSE, SKILLINGS and ARRANTS. You will find these families in the Ancestor Report of Mel Carpenter. Another new report is for my side of the family. The surnames are SUGGS, WILLIAMS, HOBBS, GANN, ANDERSON, JOHNSON, LYDA, and WHISENHUNT. I really need help here so please write. |
