Notes for CECIL GORDON CARRUTHERS:
Lived on his parents farm seven years, his parents had moved to Hargrave, 15-11-27 (established a home at the edge of the village, 90 acres, September 1940). Cecil and May honeymooned in Winnipeg. Cecil moved from 27-10-27 (sold to L. Dodds) and bought Jim Stinson's half section, 13-11-27. This farm was broke in 1899, new house in 1900, by Jim's father Chris.

Notes for HAROLD LESLIE HEAMAN:
Honeymooned in Toronto Ontario, farmed 300 acres, corner of Trans-Canada Highway and Highway 83, west of Virden Manitoba. They were the first to be married in the Church in Hargrave and Inez received a nice leather bound zipper Bible as a gift.

Harold was a war veteran 1943-1945, was posted in Italy, wounded in the arm, was in hospital a number of months. He got hoem from overseas to Winnipeg May 5, 1945.

On October 19, 1967, he had a car accident at the new intersection of the Trans Canada highway at Virden with a semi-trailer and was killed instantly.
