NOTE* NEW INFORMATION DICTATES THAT I RELOOK AT THE PARENTAGE OF ROBERT. AFTER REVIEWING HIS PENSION RECORD, WILL, ETC... FIND THAT I AM QUESTIONING WHETHER THIS WILLIAM IS THE FATHER. RECORDS FOUND IN AMELIA CO. INDICATE THAT IT MAY HAVE BEEN A DIFFERENT WILLIAM SNEED. FIND SOME DOCUMENTATION OF A WILLIAM SNEED, ALONG WITH A BENJAMIN, SAMUEL, ALEXANDER AND A ROBERT SHARP (MY ANCESTOR) WERE ALL INVOLVED IN SEVERAL LAND TRANSACTIONS. ALSO FIND THAT ONE PERSON IN PARTICULAR, A WILLIAM F. WALLIS WHO LIVED IN WAKE CO. NORTH CAROLINA WAS ACTUALLY BORN IN AMELIA CO. TO A JOHN WALLIS AND SARAH CRENSHAW. HE ALSO MARRIED A SARAH SNEED WHO I THINK MAY BE A SISTER OF ROBERT'S. ACCORDING TO THE DATES THAT ROBERT GIVES IN HIS PENSION RECORDS, THIS CURRENT FATHER LISTED WOULD NOT BE THE SAME WILLIAM SNEED. WILL HAVE TO DO ALOT MORE RESEARCH!!! THE WILLIAM LISTED IN AMELIA CO. WAS MARRIED TO A SARAH... HER NAME IS LISTED ON SOME OF THE PAPERS OF DEED TRANSACTIONS. Have found that there is a documented source that states Robert Sharp Sneed was the son of William and Elizabeth Bickley Sneed of which has the correct birth date stated in robert's pension records.. William was the son of John And Susannah Poindexter Sneed. William and Elizabeth can be found in the Amelia co. records. According to the sources, robert sharp had left a bible and it is in the posession of Rachael Sneed Hicks's family of MOnroe Co. Tennessee. (Harrell listed as the name of the person-who states she was the daughter of Rachel) Still questioning the connection between matthew Wallis and a Sarah Sneed. This could be a sister, cousin, or another relative.
