Clive Lawford thinks Edmund and Susanna married about 1846. I have no record from the Marriage Register to support this.
Edmund was remarried to Dinah in the 1851 census.
(Written to John CARVER ) Blofield June 10 1839
Dear Nephew I take this oprtunity of righten (writing) to you hope thees few lines will find you in good health
as it leave us all at present I receved (receved) your kind and welcome leter and wear (were) all glad to hear from you I was talken abought you the day before. your Mother is well at present and is liven at beckels (Beccles) and your Brother James with hor [her] your Brother wm is marred [married] and is liven in London he has got awary [a very] good bucnes [business] Ingenare [engineer] your Sister Mary is liven at Shedgrift at Aclargmas [?] and have got a weary [very] good place and she cannot think a bout comin over she think it is so far she wood [would] like to see you but she say she is glad you are doing well your Aunt Sophya Marred and liven in blofield [Blofield] your grandmother is liven with her your grandfather is dead he has been dead 3 years your uncel John is dead we hav not heard any thing a bought chingels [?] nor a bought
Mathews nor abought frank horner but Charles cokerel and Robart Cokerel are home this 3 months and have been weary much put a bout for work Johnharmer [Harmer} have been home 3 months but bengman [Benjamen] harmer is not home we do not know what part he is in John harner left Blofield in June to come back a gain he kood [could] not git any work to do contry [country] is in a weary bad state we shood be all glad to see you but will knot advise you to come home as the contry is in a weary bad state at present we have never heard from you be fore we Shall be glad to hear from you when you hav an oprtunity of righten to us I have nothing more to say at present I remain your afactanist {affectionate]
