Notes for Ransom Carpenter: Subj: Carpenters Date: Fri, 3 Dec 1999 11:17:39 -0800 From: Ransom Carpenter <rcarpenter2@juno.com> To: jcarp@ccstrat.com Just to confirm our conversation which, by the way, was delightful. My husband, who has always been called "Buzz" by everyone, was very interested and wants to talk to you so he will be getting in touch soon. We have a phone with a loud speaker which he does quite well with but do plan to speak up when you are talking to him. Our son Bill's E-mail address is vamberry@teleport.com and I know he will be very pleased to hear from you. He has quite an extensive packet of Carpenter material which he will be happy to share with you. Several years ago he found a woman who is related to Buzz which surprised everyone because, as I told you, Buzz had always believed he had no cousins. I believe she was a distant cousin, although I don't remember how, but Bill can fill you in. Again, thank you for the telephone call. We will keep in touch. In the meantime I will see what I can dig up for you in the way of photographs. Sincerely, Mildred Carpenter |

Notes for Gordon M. Carpenter: 1999 - Gordon and his wife both drive schoolbuses in North Waterboro, Maine. Wife has a beautiful registered Morgan horse which they show. They live beside his mother Hattie, who must be the widow of Austin Carpenter. Both houses are at the top of the ridge near Ross Corner Road and just before the downhill where the Carpenter cemetery is. This is on Clark's Bridge Road about a mile and a quarter in from Sokokis Trail (Route 5, North) |
