1. RICHARD¹ LETTIN^1,² was born in England. He married (1) MOMMA. She died 1667. He married (2) JEAN IRELAND 1668, daughter of THOMAS IRELAND and JOAN.

No. 1. Richard Lattin came from England to Boston, Mass- in 1638, Went to Concord, Mass. and was there in 1643. In 1646 he removed to Fairfield. Conn., from which place lie removed about 1654 to Hempstead, L.I. , thence to Oyster Bay, 166o and to Huntington, L. I.. About 1664, be returned to' (Oyster Bay), where he bought land of the Indians which is called Lattington Tract. His wife never joined him. from Connecticut; she died about 1667. In 1668 he married Jean, widow of Thomas Ireland, of Hempstead, L. I., and removed there where he died in 1672,0r 1673,
