Pierre Le Carpentier-13035 is noted for the main French line that stayed in
France. Part of this line comes to the present day.
Josselin I de Melun-29004 the oldest confirmed DIRECT ANCESTOR on the
Carpenter / Melun line.
Urison II de Melun-20014 who continues the French Melun line.

William "the carpenter" De Melun-16312 born about 1042 AD. A
French Norman Knight whose nickname given in battle became a surname for one of
his descendants. The picture shows his "hometown" in the 20th century
and from a painting representing 1095 AD.

John Carpenter-89 - John The Younger. He was the Noted Town Clerk of
London. His "Will" helped found the City of London School for
Boys.

Alice Carpenter-682 - She married an Edward Southworth then came to Plymouth
as a widow on the second boat and married Governor George William
Bradford. Some of her sisters were there waiting for her!
Like Julia Ann Carpenter-675 Morton, Agnes Carpenter-682 Fuller, and Priscilla
Carpenter-688 Wright Cooper.
Louis Henry Carpenter-4066 who was the only Carpenter to win the American
Medal of Honor. He was a Captain at that time serving with the
""Buffalo Soldiers."

Mary Elizabeth Louisa Carpenter-63696 was the immediate Carpenter Great
Great Grandmother (father's side) of the "the Queen Mum" of the
English Royal family.
Malcom Scott Carpenter-20007 - A Mercury Astronaut and Aquanaut of the Man
in the Sea Program.
Donald Marshall Carpenter-64346 - An early Naval Aviator who had a U.S.
Naval ship (USS Carpenter DD 825) named after him.

Raymond George Carpenter-57916 - A noted Genealogist for the Carpenter
Family in America.
The picture shows his wife Gurlie, Raymond and Fay Charpentier-Ford who
provided the picture.

Almeria Carpenter-11781 - A Lady, the last official descendant of the Lord
George Carpenter line, who was associated with the Duke of Hanover.

Francis B. Carpenter-22396 who created a picture of the First Reading of the
Emancipation Proclamation of President Lincoln. This is the Sketch and the
