      10. William3 Joplin (James2, Robert1) was born Abt. 1797. He married Matilda "Tititha" Woodward December 5, 1818 in Wake County, NC, daughter of John Jr and Caroline Reeves. She was born 1798 in North Carolina.

Pushared a negor woman " Judith " from his mother on May 17, 1817.

The name JOPLIN was change to CHOPLIN about 1880 for reason unknow. This made it hard to research backward and it took a while to find this was the way it all was. I found on the intert net two familys researced the name Joplin/ Choplin. At first I was haveing a hard time with the first person but now I have found another one. I hope to find the rest of them. It is finaly takeing shape.

Their only child was: Matilda " Tititha" Woodward who intermarried to William Joplin in 1818 in Wake County, NC

Eli W Jopling was a grandson of Jame Jopling who died in Wake County, N.C. 1803. Since he named his first son William it seem likely that his father name was named William

David and Edith move to Gibson Co, TN in 1850 & Yell Co, AR in 1860s Researcher : Charles Engelberger 1997

Edith and her husband live in Gibson, County TN at the same time as Harris JOPLIN Edith and Harris were first cousin. JAMES & MARK JOPLIN childern, It seems that all the cousins and brothers and sisters were close by each other.

John was in the 1850 Census with Mark and his family I belive that he is a family " Cousin " member do not no where he belong yet Dist # 58 Moniteau CO, MO. with them. Could he be ELIHU son ?

John Joplin was also in 1860 Census JOHNSON County Missouri Madison Township - 1658 - 1781 Farmer He was on land own by Newton CARPENTER own 1658- 1780 3000 - 18,000

I belive this is the other JOHN JOPLIN that was with MARK JOPLIN 1850 Census Cole CO, MO
