He married (2) Elizabeth VonGerminden _Joplin Martin18 November 30, 1856 in Jamestown Moniteau Missouri, daughter of Jehoida Martin and Martha Robertson. She was born July 30, 1825 in Jamestown Moniteau County, Missouri, and died March 24, 1886 in Jamestown Moniteau, County Missouri.\\\\\\

George and Elizabeth Joplin sold Forty arces to Samuel L. James four $100.00 .This may have been the farm that she and William Geminden had .Justis of the peace was B.M. Inglish. They move some where else George was not on the Census 1870,

1850 -George and Nancy Ann Crum were married 8-17-1851 Jamestown Moniteau Missouri .They had one son John 5-1852 , She my have died at child birth . Did not find her after John was born. This make JOHN JOPLIN the only child of George and Nancy Ann Crum JOPLIN.

GEORGE JOHN married the widow of WILLIAM VONGERMINDEN ELIZABETH MARTIN who is the mother of NANCY ELIZABETH VONGEMINDEN ( wife of JOHN JOPLIN son of GEORGE and NANCY ANN CRUM. ) NANCY ANN CRUM is unknow to the CRUM family of Moniteau COUNTY, But she was some family because they where all close to each other, Nancy could have been a cosin or a sister to one of them as of yet we can not find who her family would be.

He married (1) Ann McNicle January 31, 1831 in Wilson County Tennessee, daughter of James McNicle. She was born 1825. He married (2) Mary Elizabeth J Bettis Luster January 31, 1866 in Wilson ,TN.

You asked me about the reheumatis in the JOPLIN family. Mark, my great grandfather was crippled with rheumatoid arthritis. I am sending you a doctor report on him. My grandfather had arthristis so bad that he would go to bed and not let anyone near him. My mother cannot walk and is in constant pain. I know of several Joplins that have arthritis. My Mother, Tressie Joplin, daughter of Dan who is the son of Mark, told me that Mark had two sons in the civil war. John Calvin was in the Confederate Army and his brother Elihu was in the Union Army. Elihu died in Nashville, Tn in 1863.

Mark moved to Franklin County, ILL., in 1853 and was appointed Justice of The Peace, for that part of the State, by the Governor
