I KILLED I hurt in WEEKEND WRECK------------ POLICE REPORT

Head one collision clams life------------- A, 28 year - old Bellmead man was killed and another man was injured Saturday night in a head - on collision on Farm - to - Market Road 933 north of Chalk Bluff, official said Rodney Doyle Miller of 4318 Concord Road Bellmead was driving south when his gold Chevrolet pickup collided with a blue Chevrolet pickup about 6.30 p.m. said Mclennan County, Justice of the Peace David Pareya. Pareya pronounced Miller dead at 7.30 p.m.
The 26 - year old driver of the blue pickup went to Providence Health Center, Pareya said Medical personnel at the scene said ittook 45 minutes to get the man out of his truck. He suffered chest and pelvis injuries, medical personnel said " The jaws of life " were used to get both men out of their vehicles. The Department of Public Safety is investigating the wreck, Pareya said

Wensday , January 25, 1995 Time - Review -----Obituaries- Rodney Doyle Miller------ RIO VISTA---- Service for Rodney Doyle " Toby " Miller 28, of Rio Vista will be conducted today at 2.30 p.m. in First Assembly of Good Church in Cleburne, with the Rev. Ray Featherston offciating. Burial will be in Baker - Linn Cemetery in Johnson County. Pallbears will be John Kenneth Harris, Jackie Harris , Vicente Jaime, Charlie Mason, James Robbin Miller,Rabbit Harris, and Junior Harris.
Mr. Miller died Jan. 21, in Chalk Bluff in McLennan County. He was born June 18, 1966 in Waxahachie, the son of James R. Miller and Anna May " Joplin " Miller. He married Becky Hoisington in Gateville April 22, 1985. Mr. Miller was employed as a roofer. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Survivors include his wife, Becky Miller of Rio Vista; three sons Clinton Miller, Matthew Miller, and Brandyn Miller, all of Rio Vista; one daughter, Ashley Miller of Rio Vista; his parents J.R. Miller of Cleburne and Ann Joplin Rio Vista; one brother James Robbin Miller of Crowley, two sisters, Susan Hoisington of Rio Vista and Becky Miller of Stephenville; and his grandmother Ethel Miller of Cleburne. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by a hafe - sister, Rhonda Rae Richardson. Martin's Funeral Home in, Cleburne is in charge of arrangements.

Becky is the daughter of Pam Allen, Becky name was changed from Betty Jean Allen after she was adopt by, Annie May Joplin and Jim Miller her great aunt and uncle on her mother, (Pam Allen] side and her grandma, Betty Jean Joplin, sister. Pam was very young and was unable to take care of her. Ann wanted Becky, and so she adopt her. That way she stayed in the family.
