has been bound in Maryland records as Bartholomew, Barto, Bart and

The census of 1775-78 of Charles County MD. lists him as the head of a
family of 2 males over 16; 4 males under 16 and 7 females. He signed a
power-of-attorney 1/18/1813 in Allegany County MD. It is doubtful that
he ever emigrated to Kentucky although we find that many of his issue did
move to that "Paradise Land" about the year 1800 in the then general
migration from Virginia and Maryland.
