Mr. Thomas Tanner died Feb.24th at the home of his step-son H.W.Stevens in West Carthage and the funeral services were held on the 27th at the home. Mr. Tanner was 72 years old,and was born in London,Mar.17,1858. For many years he was a harness maker and had a shop in this village. About two years ago he and his wife went to Carthage to live with their son. Mrs. Tanner died last June and since then Mr. Tanner has been in failing health.
