3. FRANCISCO GONZALES3 CORBO (MIGUEL GONZALEZ2 CORVO, JUAN GONZALEZ1) was born Abt. 1731 in LAS MEDIANIAS, SAN JUAN de la RAMBLA, ISLA de TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS, SPAIN, and died Aft. November 02, 1799 in LAS AGUAS, SAN JUAN de la RAMBLA, ISLA de TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS, SPAIN. He married ANDREA AGUSTINA RUIZ Bef. 1753 in ISLA deTENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS, SPAIN. She was born Abt. 1732 in SAN JUAN de la RAMBLA, ISLA de TENERIFE, CANARY ISLANDS, SPAIN, and died Bef. 1799 in CANARY iSLANDS, SPAIN.

Francisco Gonzales CORBO, a Spanish Soldier, his wife and ELEVEN (11) children embarked and sailed on the packet boat SANTISISMO SACRAMENTO from Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands on July 10, 1778.
After stopping in Havana, Cuba to off load some of the sick and to take on supplies, two (2) of the oldest sons married and stayed in Cuba, the SANTISISMO SACRAMENTO arrived in New Orleans, Louisiana, then a Spanish Territory, on November 1, 1778, with the balance of his family.
Francisco was later commissioned as a Sub-Lieutenant in the Louisiana Regiment and went on to Capture Baton Rouge from the British during the American Revolution.
He and his family settled near Donaldsonville, La. in Brulee Sacramento, later to be called Brulee McCall.
His descendants inter-married with other Canary Islanders until Cesare Adam CARBO (notice spelling change) married Laura Octavia LaBRUYERE (French Descendant) on November 26, 1907 in Harvey, Louisiana.
Francisco Gonzales returned to the Canary Islands with his wife and two youngest children in 1795 and served on the Isla de la Palma where he held the rank of Lieutenant in the Army.
He returned to Isla de Tenerife in 1799 and died there. He asked to be buried in the Chapel of Dolores in the San Juan Church and gave 50 pesos for this purpose. He asked that the Brotherhood of "La Misericordia" and "El Rosario" attend his burial since he had been brother to said associations before setting sail. He also gave 20 pesos for masses to be said for his soul, another 20 pesos for the soul of his wife and another 20 pesos for the souls of his deceased children. He also gave 50 pesos to the Hermit of Saint Joseph (an area of San Juan de la Rambla.\
He indicates that his sisters are Ana, Julia and Maria. His brother-in-law, Jose Gonzlez Roque and his nephew, Juan Gonzalez Corvo. He instructed that whatever is left after his death be sent in a box to his sons in Louisiana and Havana. He died in 1799 shortly after making his will.
Records show he was the 2nd of 6 brothers.
