| I am searching the THORNTON family. Unsubstanciated reports begin with REMEMBER THORNTON born in Rhode sland around 1775. He married SARAH SHERMAN (born CT?). The family moved to Canada around 1827 and settled in Ontario. Remember's father PAUL THORNTON died during the trek and was buried at Niagara-on-the-Lake in a farmer's field. Any information would be very welcome.
