This is a work-in-progress to record the genealogy of the extended families of my Parents. Although I have no children of my own, I want to pass on to my younger cousins, nieces, and nephews the joy of knowing what a wonderful, close-knit family they come from.
The idea of recording our family history came to me one day as I was talking to my father's sister Antoinette (Toni Ditta Sawich). My Aunt told me that when her Mother (my Grandmother) had grown old and her memory was not very good, she would ask her oldest son, (my Uncle) Joe to tell her stories of the past. My Uncle would tell her the family linage. My Aunt said, "I wish I had paid more attention to what he was saying. Now they are all gone and there is no one to ask."
I decided to create it on the Internet so all could have access to the information since the family is now scattered across the United States.
