The Cassidy Family Home Page

Although starting of with the premise that our branch of the Cassidy family went back many generations it now transpires that our line derives from our grandfather changing his name from Cushnahan to Cassidy at some time in his life. So my search has now become threefold - Cassidy - Cushnahan - Gore (my mothers maiden name which we can trace back for 4 generations or so. In addition it would appear that our grandfather Anthony Cassidy (nee Cushnahan) originates from the Newcastle area even though most of the family derive from Ireland.
