Notes for C
IVILITY BUCK:
Elizabeth Galloway Fuller3
Elizabeth Galloway/Gallaway Fuller3 was one of the previously "missing daughters" of Henry Gallaway2 (William1) and Civility. Bryant Fuller was the son of Crawford Fuller and his first wife, Elizabeth Cavanaugh, of NC. Bryant's sister Sarah married William W. Galloway, brother of this Elizabeth. The source cited gives Elizabeth's mother's maiden name to Buck, rather than Jordan, as we earlier hypothesized. We are working hard to verify this published information.
We'd love to hear from our Fuller cousins!

Henry Gallaway
Henry Gallaway2 (William1)
According to a reference located by new correspondent Julian Anderson, entitled "Histories of Lagrange and Troup County, Ga" by Forrest Clark Johnson, III, page 286, married Livie BUCK. It is highly probable that Livie was a misread of Sivie, as archaic Ls and Ss often looked just alike. The Buck family and its many descendants were, and still are, neighbors of our Beaufort County, NC, kin. I believe that we can tentatively give our long-lost Civility a surname (subject to further proof). The same reference would add another daughter to our list of Henry's children--Elizabeth Galloway who married Sarah Fuller Galloway's brother Bryant Fuller. Sarah Fuller married William W. Gallaway, son of our same Henry.

The quotation sent by Julian Anderson:

"FULLER" - Crawford Fuller b 1775 N.C. came to Troup Co. where he was still living in 1850 with his second wife, Martha Berry, whom he married in Troup Co. in 1839. By his first wife, he had been the father of: 1. Bryant Fuller b 10-8-1802 N.C. d. 8-2-1890 in Mountville, Ga. His wife was Elizabeth Galloway b 1802 N.C. d 1871 Mountville, Ga., daughter of Henry Galloway and Livia Buck. The Galloways moved from N.C. to Ga. but went on to Ala. later where they died."
