We are researching the Joseph Casler family of Norwich, Oxford Co., Canada. Information about Joseph was in an early, 1851 Canadian Census. He was b. in N.Y. in 1810, marr. in 1834 to Hannah Winterstein of Whitchurch, York, Ontario, CA.They had these children: Solomon b. 1834 marr. Mary_____(?).

Joshua b. 1841 marr. Phoebe M. ROBERTS

Mary b. 1851 marr. Andrew Deforrest PHARES
Hiram b. 1852 marr. Martha Ann HEATH
We do not know who the father or mother of Joseph was
however, there is a Richard Casler family of Streetsville, Ontario, CAN. who named his children very similar names which we believe could be a clue to Joseph's parents.
