Serveral years ago, my grand doughter called and told me she was given a school assignment to do a family tree, and could I help? Ontill then I had not given much thought to who came before me. I only knew back to my grand father and not much about him. I could do a little better on my mothers side of the family, I could go back to my great grand mother. I made up my mind then to learn every thing I could, and preserve it for my other grand children, and for all the ones to come.
