Although I am new to genealogy, my father was a genealogist for over two decades. Yet when he died in 1984, he had not been able to avail himself of the power to be provided by the internet and the computer. He traced the family back to its immigrant ancestor and had made considerable progress on a unique family history, the tracing back from my son John of all the ancestors from whom he had descended. His papers are now in the genealogical library of Indianapolis, IN. |
