Stephen was born Stephen L Custard and was the son of Benjamin Custard. Stephen was married about 1867 to Armina (McCarty) Stanley, widow who was born about 1835 in Kentucky, daughte of _________ and Mary McCarty. Stephen had probably married earlier?
