As you will see by my family tree, my ancesters were wanderers. This tree starts in such places as Plymouth, Ma., Virginia, Pennsylvania, etc. and moves with the settlement of the west all the way to California. Most of my ancesters came from the British Isles with a few from Germany, Holland and France. For various reasons I have stopped the tree when the individual imigrated to America. There are several branches mostly on the distaff side that need more research. I'm still trying to find the parents of Sarah Ellen Chambers, my great-grandmother. They were possibly Irish emigrants settling in the Ohio River Valley after the War of 1812. |
