Walter was a music teacher and conductor serving in the public schools of Cincinnati, OH. His biography is on p. 634 of "Cincinnati The Queen City 1788-1912" Vol. III, by The S. J. Clarke Publishing Co., 1912. He was a very handsome man judging by his picture in this book.
