* Canivan /Volk/ Family Tree August 2007*

Updated November 12, 2007

I have been researching for years the geneology of the John Cannavan and the Jacob Volk Family.
The Canivan branch were Irish/Scottish eventually settling in the Northeastern part of Pennsylvania.
The Jacob Volk family arrived from Prussia and stayed where they landed in Hoboken, New Jersey.
Both families immigrated to America before 1850's.
My research is constantly evolving as more and more areas are open to explore.
I have been contacted from a few people who have recognized their ties to these ancestors so the family tree is always expanding.
