Brueck/BruckI am searching my paternal great, great grandparents. They originally came from Prussia around 1857. They eventually settled in Belleville, Illinois. My great great grandfather's name was Anton Peter Bruck. He was born approximately 1821. He married Catharine (?). Catharine was born in 1820 and died January 15, 1874. They had nine children:Margartha - born in 1851 in Prussia;Anton - born in 1848 in Prussia; He married Anna Marie Esser 6/27/1878; Bruck was changed to Brueck some time before he married. He was a saloon keeper and owned the Court Hall Saloon in Belleville, Illinois. He was my great grandfather. He and Anna Marie had five living children: William Bertram -b 12/30/1876 in Pilot Grove, Mo. He married Katherine Amelia McGrath 1/17/1899 and moved to Paola, KS. He was a merchant in Paola the balance of his life. He died in Paola, KS 8/5/1961. He was my grandfather. Anthony Emil - b 4/9/1879 in Belleville, IL. worked for railroad in Denver CO. He died in Denver 12/14/1914. Arthur Peter - b 6/5/1880 in Belleville, IL. and was a KCMO fireman, until his death in 1924. Eugenia - b 6/23/1882 in Belleville, IL. married wealthy and lived in New York - moved to Paola, KS in later years and died there 1/6/1981. Lulu - b 5/23/1883 in Booneville, MO. She died at the age of 15 on 10/8/1899.Peter - born in 1855 in Prussia; Never married, was Secretary of Decatur Coal Co, in Macon County, Illinois;Mary - born in 1846 in Prussia; married George Deefe;Phillipina - born in 1849 in Prussia; married Chas. H. Printz;Christine - born in 1853 in Prussia; married William Lorey;Catherine - born in 1840 in Prussia; married Henry Staudt;Emma - born in 1858 in Illinois; andMina - born in 1862 in Illinois.
