| Frederick Kassabaum came to York, PA in the early 1800's from Germany. He lists his birthplace as Minden,Hesse,Prussia in 1814. In York, PA Frederick married Caterina Eberhardt in 1843 and had 8 children in York before moving to Louisa County Iowa in 1859. I am interested in connecting Kassebaum, Kassabaum families both of which appear to have migrated from the same area in Germany. I am not clear if Minden is in Hesse or Bremen. |
