Casagrande/Stithem PageUpdated September 5, 2000 |

| I am searching for any Casagrande's that might be related to my husband, the story that I was told was that a many great grandfather left an orphanage in Italy called the Casagrande and that was how they got their last name. My husband has many relatives in the Oroville and Sutter Creek areas of California, however I have very little contact or family history. I recently was contacted by a man who had extensively researched the Stithem/Stitham line and he sent me a lot of information concerning there line. He has researched the name back to the 800's. We are relatives from a couple that came from Scotland/England, the parents died leaving twin boys, we are each decendents from one of the brothers. I have alot of information from each line. I am also looking for relatives from Conn. that are decended from Richard Lorenzo, or Sarah Steadman. |
