Hello, Im am researching the Felix DiMichele (Dimickele) family. Felix was born somewhere in Italy. He married my grandmother, Laura Jones, Holmes, Petty and resided in East chicago, Indiana. This union presented two children, a son,(Rudolph, and a daughter, Anne, (Eland) The marriage broke up when Rudy was three. Dad, doesn't remember alot about his real dad. Rudy met with his dad, for a birthday party that his new wife was throwing for Felix. The party was in the early 60's. And he met with him one more time after that. That was many years later, in 1964 or 1966. I Remember, because I got to meet him that one time two. He was living in East Chicago, Indiana and was remarried. We only met him in a park. He didn't tell his family and friends, about his two children. I beleive only his wife and a couple of her childen knew about my dad and his sister...Felix was born September 27, l889 and died in July of l991 in East Chicago, Indiana. My dad remembers his dad having a brother by the name of Dominic. Please any one out there with information about my grandfather, please contact me at analai@aol.com. I am more then willing to share my info. I also need help, with informatin on my grandmother, Laura Jones, Holmes,DiMichele(Dimickele) Petty. It is said that she was born in England. Raised by an uncle whose name was Horace Jones,in Marseilles, Illinois, after her losing parents. I Don't know this for sure yet. She died in 1953. Her last marriage was to Edward Lee Petty, of East Chicago, Indiana.
I will also be researching the Edward Petty name.
