Notes for Nancy Frazier:
Nancy's death certificate shows that her parents were Dan Frazier and Evelyn White, and that she was born on 5-3-1860. The informant was listed as Mrs. Foster Combs (granddaughter). Nancy is not listed as "Nancy" in the household of Daniel Frazier in the 1860, 1870 or 1880 Letcher County censuses. According to the 1860 Letcher County census, Martha and Mary were twins born in 1860 (2 months old at the time the census was taken on July 14th). Mary does not show up in the 1870 or 1880 censuses, so it is assumed that she probably died before 1870. Therefore, Nancy was either listed as Martha in these censuses or she wasn't the daughter of Daniel and Evelyn; maybe she was a granddaughter or a niece.

According to the court transcript of testimony given during the April 1909 trial of Floyd Frazier (Reference: Kentucky Department for Libraries and Archives, Source #38357, Bill of Evidence), Floyd's mother, Nan Frazier Adams, testified that Floyd's father was "Sol Frazier" (page 90.5). Later in the trial Nancy "Nance" Frazier (wife of Bonargen N. Frazier) testified that Floyd's "mother is my husband's sister" (page 106) and that her (Nance's) brother, Sol Frazier, was Floyd Frazier's father, so far as she knew (page 107).
