Born January 9, 1809 Lawrence County, Kentucky, son of Samuel and Hannah Kirby Thompson. Died 1884 Lawrence County, KY. Married Mary Spencer February 5, 1829 Lawrence County, KY. Father of Eleanor Thompson who married James Boone Caudle and they were parents of Wesley Thompson Caudle. This man is Bud's 3x great grandfather. Picture taken probably between 1870 and 1880.
