I am researching the Cayer Family from the New Britain area of Connecticut. My maternal grandparents came over from Italy either late in the 1800's or early in the 1900's. There are still relatives of ours in Northern Italy. My mother's maiden name is Poltri. My father's mother, Harriett Claughsey, died in his early childhood. I am not sure where my paternal grandparents are from. I am willing to share any info and specifically I am looking for records to help me begin my search for the backgrounds of my maternal and paternal grandparents! |
