This is a work in progress. I believe that my Santini ancestors emigrated from Corsica and settled in Aibonito and/or Barranquitas Puerto Rico around the mid to late 1800's. If you think we are related through the Santinis from Puerto Rico send me an e-mail, I would be interested in hearing from you.

  • Aurea and Elba Santini Rodriguez (146 KB)
This is a picture of Aurea Santini Rodriguez (the tallest) and her younger sister Elba Santini Rofriguez. The girls' mother Georgina died of Tuberculosis while the girls were around 2 and 3 years old. Their father Enrique remarried and the girls were raised with 3 half-brothers and by a stepmother who was less than motherly to them. The hardships they endured living under her tyrannical rule caused the girls to grow closer to one another. They are still very loving and close despite the distances between them. They also grew-up, married, and raised 8 children between them. They turned out to be wonderful and loving mothers and aunts to some very grateful adult chidren. We thank you and love you for the nurturing and loving care you provided to us all..Carlos;Lynette;Osvaldo,jr.;John,jr;Jeanette, Ivette,Raymond and Lillian.
