pg 83- This indenture made the 12th day of May in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and seventy, between Tobias Stapleton and Barbara his wife, Charles Stapleton and Sarah his wife, Frederick Painter and Mary his wife, Woolurik Molers and Hannabeth his wife, Conrad Arnold and Sarah his wife, Henry Keltner and Barbara his wife, oldest son and heir at law of Michael Keltner deceased and Elisabeth heirs all of the Parish and County of Frederick in the Colony of Virginia and William Stapleton and Annahenny his wife, John Stapleton and Margaret his wife, Samuel Dark and Catherine his wife, Frederick Culty and Margaret his wife, all of the provence of Pennsylvania of the one part and Andrew Hudlow of the aforesaid parish and County of Frederick in the colony of Virginia have granted, bargained, sold, alined and confirmed and by these present do grant, bargain, sell, alien release and confirm unto the said Andrew Hudlow and his heirs a certain piece parcel or tract of land containing four hundred and twenty eight-acres which was formaly granted by deed from sd proprectors office of the Northern neck of Virginia bearing date the third day of February one thousand seven hundred and forty nine to Thomas Holdman and by him conveyed by deed of same released bearing date of 18th day of May 1752 to

of Augusta in the said Colony of Virginia, and by the last will and testament
of said Robert Stapleton likewise of record in the County court of Frederick
in the sd Colony devised the said tract of land to his wife Catherine for
and during her natuural life and after her demise to be equally divided
