| My quest to search back on the family history began almost 12 years ago. My goal is to find out how far back in American history the family goes back. My search stops on an ancestor when I found the year and country they immigrated from. On the Gallop/Joy side of the family we can trace back 373 years. I greatly regret any errors, either factual or typographical, such as: spelling of names, wrong dates or errors of any other sort. I have made every effort to get all the records correct, however, it has been difficult to read names and dates from original documents, and some documents have errors, which were made by the record keeper of the time. I apologize now if I have omitted anyone. If any information is found in error, or if you have any additional information that can be added to the family please email me so I can update information.
