Family of Arthur Garfield Cessna and Phoebe Kathryn Shidler

I am researching the family of my paternal grandparents Arthur Garfield CESSNA and Phoebe Kathryn SHIDLER (from Lawrence County, IL).

I am researching the family of my grandparents Pietro BUSCEMI (fron Calascibetta, Sicily) and Angelina CARIOTA (from Villarosa, Sicily). Pietro left Sicily in 1906 and went first to Kansas City, MO and then to Centerville, Iowa about a year later where he found work in the coal mines. In 1909, Angelina joined him in Centerville along with her two children Mario and Vincenza (Margaret). In 1925, the family moved to Taylorville, Illinois, again to find work in the coal mines. In 1930, the Buscemi-Cariota family moved to Gary, Indiana where Pietro heard of work at United States Steel from his cousin.

This file contains information about their ancestors in Calascibetta and Villarosa and their descendants in the United States.
