Obituary: Cecil Hoffman, 93, of Boone died of a heart ailment Wednesday at Boone County Hospital. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Stark-Welin Funeral Chapel, with burial in Squire Boone Cemetery southeast of Boone.
Mr. Hoffman was born in Boone County. He retired after more than 40 years as owner of Hoffman Plumbing and Heating and was a member of Central Christian Church.
Among survivors are two daughters, Janice McCaskey of Boone and Arliss Anderson of Kansas City, Mo.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call after 8 a.m. at the funeral chapel.
