2. Samuel² Sturgeon (Samuel¹) was born Abt 1706 in Ireland, and died March 1749/50 in Paxtang Twp., Dauphin Co., PA. He married Sarah Ferguson.

3. Jeremiah² Sturgeon (Samuel¹) was born Abt 1708 in Ulster, Ireland, and died January 01, 1795 in Paxtang Twp., Lancaster Co., PA. He married Lydia Lee.

6. Henry² Sturgeon (Samuel¹) was born 1712-1714 in Ireland, and died Abt 1797. He married Letitia.

10. John² Sturgeon (Samuel¹) was born Abt 1722 in Ireland, and died Abt 1832 in Hart Co., KY. He married Elenor Abt 1745 in Lancaster Co., PA.

Notes
By 1810, John Sturgeon and his son James had settled in the area now known as Hart County, Kentucky. Another son John also went with them but soon joined his brother Robert in Crawford County, Indiana.
John is listed in the 1830 Hart County censusas part of James family. His age is listed in the 'over 100' column so he caold very well have been 110 when he died as the McCoy book says.
