Notes for JAMES HENRY BOYETT:
On the 1860 census of Alachua Co, FL a James H. Boytt, age 19, is in the J.M. Parchman household as a farm laborer. James H., wife & children are on the 1880 & 1885 censuses of Sumter Co, FL. A homestead file indicated that he settled on 160 acres in Webster, FL in 1871. The property had a 4 room log house, 200 orange trees & 20 acres under cultivation. A confederate pension file sheds more confusion than light. If it is the same individual, the only new info is that he was born in Bibb Co, GA.
