3. ROBERT2 STRICKLAND (DAVID1) was born 1774 in Georgia10, and died 1856 in Washington Parrish, LA.

Notes for ROBERT STRICKLAND:
Robert Strickland is believed to have settled in Pike Co, MS where he served in the War of 1812 and apparently resided through 1840. On the 1850 census he is residing with his son, Robert, Jr.,in Washington Parrish, LA.

Robert received 50 acres of land in Hancock Co, GA during his father's lifetime. According to tax records it appears that this same land was sold or transferred to Jeptha before 1807.
