2. BENJAMIN² WYNNE (JOHN¹) was born 1776 in Spartan District, SC ¹, and died 06 September 1841 in Warren County, GA ². He married ELIZABETH DEWBERRY, daughter of IRBY DEWBERRY and MARY ROBERTSON. She was born 1780 in Spartan District, SC, and died Abt. 1870 in Warren County, GA.

Notes for ELIZABETH DEWBERRY:
An Elizabeth Winn is listed on Warren County Mortality schedule in 1870; " born SC, age 96, born July, died July." Our Elizabeth's age, taken from the 1850 census, would have been 98. I believe this is the same individual.

Notes for JOHN WYNNE:
Benjamin Wynne's will is usually interpreted to show a daughter, "Cecilla". I believe however that this woman was his daughter-in-law, married to his son, John. The specific language of the will indicates her relationship is different from the other daughters, it would be most unusual if he did not name a son for his father and there is a marriage between a John Wynne and a "Scicily" Gunn which is close enough considering the spelling of the times and dialect of the region.
