I do not know where John Chastain is buried but know he has a descendant living in Hanna, OK. He is Andrew Martin. I do not know his P O Box number but if you address a letter to him at Hanna, OK 74845 he will get it. He has talked with me about there being a change in the spelling of the Chastain name at some time and that he doesn't have many relatives left on that side of the family. The last known burial at Weogufkee cemetery, that is in the part of the cemetery set aside for the burial of non-Indians, was Floy Hughey, born 12-05-1912 died 04-01-1942. Her maiden name was Chastain and I believe she may have a child buried next to her. As I recall from childhood, the Chastains had red hair. Is that correct? I'm sure Andy would be happy to reply to your letter. There is also an Indian cemetery and church at Weogufkee and it is our understanding from talking with Andy that he has a relative buried in the Indian part of the cemetery, a Chastain.
