F. M. JONES
Born: March 14, 1837
Died: December 19, 1909

The death dates for Felter's brother's and sister's are based on what was written in his obit when he died in 1946. It states that he is survived by his brother Luther, and two sister's: Mrs. Lillie (Lillian) Jones, and Mrs J. J. Smith.(which is Ida)

I have a letter written to my gg-grandfather. There are some words that can't be made out, and considering when it was written I had to add comma's and such. But I have transcribed the letter the way it was written. The letter is written to him and he is referred to as an uncle Marion. Also referred to as uncle's are Luther, Virgil, Perry, and Jesse.

Pete gave him a dose of morphine about 2 o'clock and he seemed to be alright, said his leg was hurting him a good deal, the doctor stayed til bed time that night and left some morphine to give him, after Pete gave him that dose he lay down again on a bed near him, but Pete did not go to sleep any more and about 3 o'clock he heard him making a queer noise, and he called Winnie and he did not answer him, so he got up and went to him. Oh Uncle aint that awful, he never did open his eyes (the next line cannot be read-it's where the letter was folded)
