2. LILLIAN (LILLIE) J.⁴ JONES (FRANCIS MARION³, WILEY², JONES¹) was born 1869 in Perry Co., Mississippi, and died Aft. 1946 in Colmesneil Tx.. She married JAMES M. JONES, son of PERRY JONES and MARY BURKETT. He was born August 26, 1861 in Perry Co., Mississippi.

Notes for JAMES M. JONES:
James M. Jones' wife Lilian was the daughter of Marion Frances Jones, ( Felter's father.) Marion was also James' uncle. He was brother to James' father, Perry.

So, James and Lillian were first cousins.

James M. Jones' name appears on the death certificate of Felter Claude Jones as Felter's father. The information was supplied by Travis Bowie Jones, Felter's son.

James could have been thought of as the "HEAD" of the family since Marion had already died.

James is listed in the 1920 MS. census, Lamar Co., Beat 4, ED 101, Pg. 10B.
