Eda Marie Gedrich, 84, of San Bernardino, died August 23, 2000 at Emanuel San Joaquin Convalescent Center in Bakersfield.
She was born on August 2, 1916, in Los Angeles and resided in San Bernardino all of her life.
She was an apartment owner/manager since 1951 and founder of the Loma Linda Bulletin newspaper.
Mrs. Gedrich is survived by three children; Joe Lyddon of Alta Loma, Marianne White of Washington, and Pamella Chua of Bakersfield; one brother, Marion Abken of Yucaipa; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in San Bernardino. Cucamonga Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
Her father, Fredrick August Abken, was from Germany. Her Mother, Marie Diwisch, was from Austria.
