| HELP: I need help with the Kelly/Hill family of Yalobusha Co., MS. I think my Kelly came from Memphis, TN. I know the Hills came from Arkansas. ALL & ANY help appreciated. I have traced the lineage of JOHANNES CASPER SCHELL/SHELL to his father Peter Schild and morther Catharina Pung in Ettringen, Rheinland, Germany. Family still lives there. I also am tracing it forward to Oklahoma from Arkansas from Missouri from North Carolina from Pennsylvania. My brick wall is information on George H. Schell born 1810 d: 1873 in Cape Girardeau, MO. AND Johannes Caper's REAL birthplace and parents. I have tried to make my report on ROBERT WEAKLEY the most acurate on the web. Experts on SAW's book of Weakleys have double checked my work. If you find errors or can add to this report, please e-mail me. My Jones begin with WILLIAM JONES born 1810 in Whitley Co., KY and moved on to Indian Territory, Arkansas and Oklahoma. Other surnames I've had a tougher time with are: MARTIN & DELAP from AR, MAHER & CROWE from County Tipperary, Ireland through Ellis Island to AR, NANCY HILL b: 1850 in AR, married a SAMUEL KELLEY from NC to MO(?) to MS to LA. Also researching the Robert Chesnutt line from Ayr, Scotland, the Adams, Phipps and Riddel of PA. |
