Robert K. Lahew, 66, of Lantz Street, Waynesburg, died at 8:30 p.m. Friday, July 18, 2003, in his home following an eight-month illness.
He was born January 6, 1937, in Waynesburg, a son of Albert E. and Ethel Tennant Lahew.
Mr. Lahew was a member and former commander of Disabled American Veterans in Waynesburg, a member and former governor of Waynesburg Moose Lodge 461 and a member of Waynesburg Sportsman Club.
He was a rural mail carrier and a was a truck driver for Greenway Manufacturing in Waynesburg.
Mr. Lahew enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting Indian artifacts.
On September 19, 1959, he married Ellen May, who survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Brenda Blevins of Phoenix City, Ala.; two sons, Robert K. Lahew Jr. of Spraggs and Albert J. Lahew of Waynesburg; five grandchildren, Becky, Chrissy and Bryce Lahew and Trevor and Taylor Blevins; a great-granddaughter; and a brother, Richard A. Lahew of Brave.
Deceased are a daughter, Carol Ann Lahew; and a granddaughter, Kyla Lahew.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public visitation or services. Arrangements are under the direction of Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Waynesburg. Information is available online at www.milliken-throckmortonfh.com.

Willard Kent Eddy, 65, of Jakes Run, died Thursday, July 12, 2001, at home.
He was born March 25, 1936, at Jakes Run, son of the late William Russell and Gladys Stull Eddy.
He is survived by a daughter, Tina Louise Chesenage, of Stewartstown, Pa.; two sisters, Shirley Burnside, of Core, and Lula Barr, of Fairmont; and five granddaughters.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers.
Graveside service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, July 14, in McCurdysville Cemetery, with the Rev. Samuel Hibbs officiating. Owen Neely Funeral Home, Blacksville, is in charge of arrangements.

Albert Blane Eddy Sr., 72, of Rivesville, died Saturday, June 3, 2000, at Fairmont General Hospital.
He was born May 14, 1928, son of the late Clyde and Goldie Mae Moore Eddy.
He was a retired coal miner from Loveridge Mine in Fairview, where he worked for 38 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia Naternicola, of Rivesville; two sons and spouse, Albert Blane Jr. and Beverly Eddy, of McCurdysville, and Michael Eddy, of Fairmont; two daughters and spouse, Linda and Jeff Satterfield, of Walkerville, Md., and Darle ne Eddy, of Boulder City, Nev.; a brother, Harold Eddy, of Daybrook; a sister, Mary Liming, of Core; and four grandchildren, Jennifer Satterfield, Jeffrey Satterfield, Brooke Toothman and Albert Blane Eddy III.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Katy Tennant.
Friends may call at Ford Funeral Home, DeGarmo Chapel, in Rivesville noon-9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, until the 1 p.m. service with the Rev. Stanley Merrifield officiating. Burial will be in McCurdysville Cemetery in Monongalia County. Lawrence June Floyd will recite military rites in the funeral home.
