We are currently researching the Childers and Hawkins lineage from North Carolina. I hail from Statesville, North Carolina. My parents are Jesse & Barbara Childers. My grandfathers include Marvin Boyd Childers and David Milas Childers.My wife is the former Marcia Diane Hawkins from Flat Creek, North Carolina, (just north of Asheville). Her parents were Hubert and Louise Williams Hawkins.
