We have been able to trace the name Chipley back to the late 17th century. We can follow the lines of descendants of Edward Chipley. However, it is not all of his descendants.

It is believed that all of the Chipley 'clans' started in Maryland (where they emigrqted from England), and spread out all across the United States. If you are part of the family, please contact me.
